Buyer portal
What your buyers see after they sign in, and how you manage buyers and their units from the staff app.
The buyer portal is where people who have bought from you follow their purchase: the project, their unit, construction progress, documents, payments and messages. Buyers are free and unlimited on every plan.
Give a buyer access
A buyer's login is created when you convert their lead. Send them the login email and initial password you chose, and the address of the portal. They sign in on the normal login page and go straight to the portal.
What buyers see
The portal is split into tabs. Tabs with nothing in them are hidden.
- Overview — the project: cover, location, status, area description, project fields shared with buyers, the gallery, the map with points of interest, and the brochure and shared-folder links.
- My unit — the unit's details and fields, floor plan and images, and Your journey: a timeline of milestones, construction updates, design selections and payments, with what is overdue at the top. A buyer with several units switches between them here.
- My home — once the unit is handed over: its warranties, maintenance schedule, manuals and warranty documents, Report an issue and the reminder setting. See Aftercare and warranties.
- Progress — construction updates for the whole project and for their units.
- Design — choices to make for their unit. See Design selections.
- Documents — files marked for Clients or Everyone, for the project and their units.
- Messages — a conversation with your team. See Messages and notifications.
- Payments — their payment schedule. See Payments.
Buyers get a notification (and an email, when email is set up) for new updates, documents, payments and messages, and — after handover — before warranties end and when maintenance is due. They never see other buyers, internal documents or leads.
Report an issue after handover
When you mark a buyer's unit as handed over, a My home tab appears in their portal (My unit links to it). There they select Report an issue, say what's wrong and where, and can add up to 5 photos and a pin on the unit's floor plan. A buyer can send up to 10 reports a day. Each report shows its progress in the buyer's language: Received, Accepted, Fixed, or Declined with your reason. Buyers never see who works on it or your team's comments. See Snagging and buyer reports.
Manage buyers
Open Buyers in the sidebar to see every buyer with their units and projects. Filter by project or search by name or email. Select a buyer to open their page, which has four tabs:
- Overview — contact details, purchased units and recent activity.
- Units — per unit: its details, the buyer's design selections and unit documents. Use Attach another unit to add a unit, Make primary to choose the one shown first, and Detach to remove one.
- Messages — the conversation with this buyer.
- Payments — their payment schedule.
The buyer's own data
At the bottom of the portal, Your data lets a buyer download everything held about them, or ask for their account to be deleted. A deletion request needs your confirmation — see Privacy tools.
Note: There is no self-service password reset yet. If a buyer loses their password, open a support ticket.
